Noro Sonata Shima is Noro Sonta's more colorful sister.  Just like Sonata, Sonata Shima is silky soft and wonderful right next to the skin, but with Noro's inimitable colors arranged to create beautiful stripes as you work. 

Sonata Shima colors coordinate perfectly with Sonata giving you lots of options for two and three color projects.  

There's not a hint of itch or prickle, because there's not a hint of wool. Just fluffy unmercerized cotton, viscose (rayon) and silk, plus a little polyamide for strength. It's a terrific yarn for summer shawls, tanks, and tees. Perfect too for anyone with any sensitivity to wool.

Just as with Sonata, Sonata Shima has a little bit of thick and thin going on which adds to the lovely effect you get in your fabric - even plain stockinette looks beautiful.
